To all the nominators, THANK
YOU!!! Without you, we would not have been able to impact the lives we have
touched with ACE 4.0 Project so far... You willingness to nominate and monitor
the progress of the beneficiaries have gone a long way to help us cut the cost
of logistics.
Please note that while some
beneficiaries have received their gifts valued at 10k, we need required
information - proof of need, account number of service provider e.g school or
training centre, invoice for product etc, from nominators. Though the
nominations are approved based on the stated need and promise that funds will
be used as approved and feedback on progress will be sent, we require proof to
finalise the award presentation. We thank you for the understanding!!!
For this cycle, we have
a new list of nominees. This list is made up of those who are eligible but did
not receive approval during the firs cycle. By the end of the month, if we have 20
nominees or more (WE NEED 11 MORE), their names will be sent to the Review Committee. Those
approved would be announced by February 27 and gifts will be presented to them
by March 27. Otherwise, this cycle will be merged with the next cycle and 20
awardees will be named by March 27 and given their gifs by April 27 instead:
Basically, 4 things will count in
approving nominations:
1. There MUST be a verifiable and
specific need thatN10, 000 can meet.
2. The gift is not transferable and
the beneficiary must use the value as approved
3. The nominee/beneficiary CANNOT
nominate a nominator
4. The nominator must be willing to
follow up and report (with photos where possible) on how the fund impacted the
beneficiary
We have invited some individuals
and organisations that serve the less priviledged to nominate candidates. The
organisations include Human Development Initiatives, Straight Talk for Youth
